New Com.X Administrator’s guide available (1.16)

Revision 1.16 of the Com.X administrator’s guide is now available from the Far South Networks resource center. Alternatively you can download it directly form here.

Additions and improvements include sections on: Flex Path, hot-desking, streaming media services, monitoring, CSV CDR logging, queue statistics, Hylafax, DNS, MySQL access, TNG, P$X, mail relay, PPPoE, backup and restore, LAN configuration and more.

Added a section on hot-desking, added a section on legacy PBX gateway configuration.

Updated the Monitoring section with the latest options available

Added a Flex Path section on legacy PBX feature set extension.

Added a sections on configuring music on hold from and configuring a streaming server, as well as enabling CSV CDR logging and installing queue stats.

Also added a section on using hylafax for incoming fax to email services.

Added a trouble-shooting section on FXO health issues due to earthing problems.

Added a trouble-shooting section on DNS name resolution.

Added a section on accessing CDR records in the MySQL database

Updated section on extensions re: free ports and free extensions. Updated hot-desking.

Added section on TNG integration.

Added sendmail relay configuration section. Updated Hylafax re: DID-based fax routing, corrected document description. Added section on rp-pppoe. Updated default IP addresses to 192.168.10n.x. Added section on P$X. Updated NFS instructions. Noted items that are not backed up by the Com.X backup algorithm.
